As someone who really struggled with postpartum recovery with my first child, I am passionate about giving you all the teas about this phase of your life.

I heard a phrase a colleague said a few years ago and it always stuck with me - help is not help, unless it is help. I unpack just what this means and how well intentioned people coming to visit the baby might not always help you in the ways you need to make a proper recovery after birth.

I am joined by The Doula Darcy as we talk about the role of a postpartum doula and how critical they are to the mental and physical health and recovery of new moms. Whether it is your first pregnancy or subsequent - we all need a doula.
