Isabella Young (B.Ed., M.Ed. pre.) has taught Physical and Outdoor Education, Health, and Exercise Physiology at tertiary levels in Victoria, Australia. A pioneer in therapeutic Outdoor Education, she co-founded Out Doors Inc., supporting mental health through nature-based programs since 1987. After a personal tragedy in 1994, she began a 30-year healing journey across three continents, including time in wilderness, ashrams, and a cult—where the loss of her son became a catalyst for awakening. Now based in Kauai, Hawaii, Isabella writes, gardens, swims, and lives barefoot. Her work has appeared in For Kaua’i, The Mother, Lotus Birth, and The Secret Garden. She is the author of Putting on the Armor of God and New Human of New Earth, exploring healing, sovereignty, and conscious living in times of global change.
